Genesis Equine Horse Allwormer 1 X 15ml Trigger Applicator Description: Genesis Equine is highly effective against tapeworms and gastrointestinal, cutaneous and pulmonary nematodes and bots of horses of all ages. Regular treatment will reduce the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by Strongylus vulgaris. Treatment and control of roundworms, tapeworms and bots in horses. At the recommended dose level Genesis Equine controls adult and some immature stages of the following parasites. Tapeworms: Anoplocephala perfoliata, A. magna and Paranoplocephala mammillana (adult and immature, heads and segments); large strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris (adults and arterial larval stages), S. edentatus (adults and tissue stages), S. equinus (adults) and Triodontophorus sp. (adults); small strongyles, including benzimidazole resistant strains: Cyathostomum sp., Cylicocyclus sp., Cylicostephanus sp., Cylicodontophorus sp. and Gyalocephalus sp.; pinworms: Oxyuris equi (adult and immature); ascarids: Parascaris equorum (adult and immature); hairworms: Trichostrongylus axei (adult); large mouthed stomach worms: Habronema muscae (adult); neck threadworms: Onchocerca sp. (microfilariae); bots: Gasterophilus sp. (oral and gastric stages); lungworms: Dictyocaulus arnfieldi (adult and immature); intestinal threadworms: Strongyloides westeri (adult). Genesis Equine is also effective for control of skin lesions caused by Habronema sp. and Draschia sp. cutaneous larvae (summer sores), and Onchocerca sp. microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis). Dosage and Administration: May be used in horses of all ages including pregnant mares and breeding stallions. Give orally at the dose rate of 1 mL - 40 kg bodyweight; this dose delivers ivermectin 0.2 mg - kg, and praziquantel 2.5 mg - kg. The contents of this syringe will treat one horse of 600 kg bodyweight. Each weight marking on the syringe plunger will deliver 2.5 g of paste which is sufficient to treat 100 kg bodyweight.
