Barron River Rafting - Half Day Description: Get ready for an adventure of white water rafting along North Queensland`s Barron River. Your day starts when we collect you from your accommodation. You will meet your Trip Leader on the coach and will be transferred to Lake Placid, where the fun begins! Journey to Barron Gorge whilst your guides explain the safety procedures and prepare you for a fun adventure ahead. Upon arrival at the Barron Gorge, your safety equipment and gear will be waiting for you. After being assigned into your rafting group, everyone will hop on board and be under the instruction of your experienced guide. Together the group will negotiate rapids such the Cheese Churn, Hell`s Gate and Rooster Tail. Rapids are generally up to a level of Grade 3. Blue Mountains Scenic Flight With Aerobatics Description: Upon your arrival at our headquarters in Bankstown, you will climb into a flight-suit and prepare to board. Your pilot will strap you securely into the open-air cockpit of the Pitts Special S2A aerobatic bi-plane and fasten your headphones and flight helmet. There will be plenty of time for your family and friends to take photographs of you as you prepare for your flight. When you are secure, your pilot will prepare the plane for take off. You will be able to hear all the calls to air traffic control and speak to your pilot through the intercom. Once airborne you`ll head west towards the Blue Mountains, dropping low over Warragamba Dam and into the Burragorang Valley- Australia`s answer to the Grand Canyon. Flying 500ft above the level of the water, and below the top of the magnificent escarpments, you`ll experience a unique view of the lush, Eucalypt covered landscape of the Great Dividing Range.
