Half Day Sea Kayak Tour - Melbourne, Vic Description: Paddle in a double sea kayak across the ocean at St Kilda in Melbourne. Experience the world from the waters edge with views of St Kilda and Williamstown... You will be paddling in double sea kayaks for stability, speed and safety while single kayaks are also available for the more experienced clients. There are plenty of opportunities at the end of the tour to visit one of many inner city restaurants along the coast for lunch or dinner; so why not make a day of it! Your experience begins by discussing the days format eg. Distance expected to paddle, weather conditions etc. Then participants get geared up with PFD, spray deck paddle jacket and thermals and paddle. The group then stretches and attends and participates in a safety briefing (this includes a dry capsize drill). We then set out and paddle as one group.
